There are 3 dominant members of the team- Hayley Howe, Emily Carter, and Jessica Summers.
Hayley- Business Counts Coordinator, works for Steam Powered Stories CIC.
Hayley manages the Business Counts programme, including line management of Schools Coordinator and Administrator, monitoring, and evaluation. In addition to the above tasks, Hayley recruits employers to Business Counts drawing on existing employers working with organisations in the consortium group. Hayley also delivers promotional presentations to potential employers, fosters new links with employers, vets work placements in terms of health and safety, and consults and seeks approval for curriculum-linked resources from employers.
Hayley additionally aims to identify, target, and recruit schools open to intervention from Business Counts Team. Hayley works with Senior Leadership teams of schools to agree and implement a Numeracy Development Plan linked directly to the standards and requirements set out the National Numeracy Framework. Hayley also develops and produces numeracy resources linked to Employers' activities, coordinates peer mentoring training for pupils identified as requiring additional support with numeracy skills, and also engage experience and expertise from existing educational activities carried out by organisations within the consortium group.

Emily designs and creates free maths packs for each age group so each child whether in secondary or primary school can improve their maths skills. Emily also finds, organises, and attends events to promote the scheme. Emily Carter also creates staff rotas to ensure each team member is aware of what everyone is doing each week. In addition, Emily creates evaluation sheets for both employers and pupils to fill in so we can gain valuable feedback which Emily then uses to create graphs to illustrate how effective and helpful our services are.
Jessica- Copywriter for Steam Powered Stories CIC.
Jessica manages Steam Powered Stories' Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr pages, along with running and maintaining this blog. In addition to the above job roles, Jessica also creates the WYSC! newsletters, and writes newspaper articles and uses other methods to promote the scheme. Jessica also attends events, whether in the community or in schools to take photographs, and write reports that are to be placed in local newspapers.
